I didn't realise it was 2 years.

I took the box down off the shelf the other day and read it for no real reason.

MCO was a massive part of my life back then. It caused me no end of trouble in real life, at the time I got made redundant, split with my girlfriend but thing remained from beta to the grave and that was MCO.

This past year was not quite as bad as the first... sniff sniff. But it has been a long two years.

I tend to agree with the way Rev put it. Past year wasn't nearly as tough as the first. Still sucks though. :-x

Just when I think I've forgotten about it....BAM I'm hit be a sudden reminder. An old habit that still hasn't died...I was bored today and actually double clicked the MCO icon on my desktop.

Current Status: "Unable to Connect to Patch Server"

Everytime I do that, my heart rate doubles in anticipation for something I know isn't coming...:(

I still miss my cars, the chat rooms, the racing. BUT despite MCO being gone, I have to say the last two years have been pretty good to me. For the first three or four months, I was pretty bored, but after that I met my girlfriend, made a bunch of new friends, and started college. Some days time seems to fly and others it seems to crawl, I still miss MCO, but not like I did.

i find myself working on my real car or at work and there it is MCO. i've moved on but i still hope we have a chance at another version of it. MCO was the only computer game i have ever played for 2 years and then spent 2 years hoping it would come back lol i think it really says something for MCO, huh.

lol Randomman, yeah i dont think i uninstalled MCO from my computer untill a year later, and would click on it once in awhile, i still had a backup of it on another disk i found not long ago.

Unfortunately i dont have my retail MCO package anymore cuz our house burned in the fires here in So Cal. almost 2 years ago come October, had names and emails of all i contacted with there on MCO, found most of the people between this board, MCOers.com and GoneGamingnet.com, but still cant find a few.

well, i just dont know why it could not keep going, thought for sure it would work into a version 2.

Cyas!

I will never forget this game. It's still loaded on my computer with the icons still waiting patiently on the desktop..... :wall:

I made a [url]url=http://xredeyex.topcities.com/MCO MemorialMCO Memorial that I go to from time to time to feed the need I still have for the game. Though you can't race there it's the closest we'll ever get ever again I'm afraid.

I hope you all enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed making it.
