Post by ZER » Sun Apr 30, 2006 6:29 pm

Ok, I am not sure about this, but mabey Caddy can clear it up for me? I opened the MCO beta version DB file ant it had nearly all of the data inside, could it be possible to do something with this?

if cid is correct all thats really good for is to, like he said, look at the cars the last time you were on, however someone made a program so you can look at the cars and parts list and specs of all your cars, and spin them I think.

might be work a try, seems like sonjeir had it on his site at one time.

Yeah we went through that, and Bob says that it is too incrypted for him to crack, but I still keep trying for some strange reason! He is actualy in the process of developing his own racing game, and he realy loved what H had told him about MCO. When he finaly gets it playable and gives me a copy, I will see if he will let me distribute it to you guys to try out and see what you think.

But in the mean time, I will not give up hope on MCO, call me insane, but I think of it every day, literaly!

P.S. Squirts, I think that was called Motor City Offline, I have it downloaded but it requires a password to install, does anyone know the password, I would love to spin my T/A one more time!

I miss car spinning :(

That database would save everything that you had browsed during your last login. Every car you drove or viewed was saved there.

I had made a program ages ago that would let you view those cars offline. I haven't touched it since MCO closed but if anyone felt like playing around with it you can find it here:

http://www.mco.bluebulldog.net/mps/modu ... oad&cid=15

I posted the instructions...it says you first need to login to MCO and view all of your cars. That part is gonna be a bit tricky :-)

But if you open your database you will see your last session and whatever you drove and looked at...kind of like a time capsule.
