I took the shot with my vert '66 GTO, which at the time was still rare. I think there were only two or three on Midtown.

I got SO lucky, got it in an auction for only $250k

Late at night and nobody was paying attention

I had my vert '66 set up for Hazard Hollow. I could run 2 laps in 4 mins, 4 seconds at muscle B. Compared to my Formula, which I got down to 3:56 once.

It really took people by surprise when I ran a GTO...much less an ultra-rare convertible...that quickly. I made a LOT of money at that track.

(and it's all thanks to Kevin, who utterly whipped me at HH in his own GTO, after I'd given up on them...otherwise, my GTO's would've rusted)
